Since childhood (here we go), I’ve been enamoured of words and language and have spent a lot of time with dictionaries and thesauri fine-tuning my craft. Coupled with my rapid keyboarding rate of 80-100 words per minute, this makes for an effective writing machine for your commercial and non-commercial needs. Beyond preparing routine essays, a Major Research Paper, and a successful Canada Graduate Scholarship proposal in my post-secondary education, my professional experience includes writing original content for the following:
For billing purposes, a commercial project is any writing job undertaken on behalf of a for-profit organization. Short pieces specifically intended for marketing purposes, such as radio commercials or script/narration production for a video on your website, are billed at the rate of $0.50 per word. For larger commercial projects, such as RFP submissions on behalf of your corporation, per-word billing does not make sense and so I would ask you to contact me regarding your project. Similarly, I ask that you contact me for commercial writing needs for shorter pieces that do not fall under the description of script/narration production, such as frequent blog entries or social media updates that might entail regular/repeat business, to negotiate a reasonable cost per word.
Non-commercial writing on behalf of individuals, regardless of their organizational affiliation, or non-profit organizations will be billed at Words in Minutes’ standard hourly rate of $50 per hour. Work such as the preparation of correspondence (formal or informal), reference letters/recommendations, or script/narration production for a non-profit entity falls under this category.
